BUILDER/MECHANIC/CO-HOST

Job Description:

PowerNation Studios in Franklin TN has an opening for a Builder/Mechanic/Co-Host to work on show project builds and occasionally appear on camera. The opening is for a regular, full-time position with company benefits. This position requires working with the Show Producer on concepting projects and editorial for the shows, providing mechanical work required for project building, acquiring all parts necessary for each production shoot, and collaborating with other employees to insure editorial obligations are complete in the production of the shows. The position also requires appearing on camera in the shows or other productions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Some college or technical school; appropriate technical certifications
  • Experience with automotive mechanical work and/or fabricating and vehicle painting experience
  • Good on screen voice and appearance
  • Ability to conceptualize projects and show content based on Producer’s direction of required editorial content integration for customers and networks
  • Ability to use discretion and creativity to determine the best presentation of required editorial
  • Ability to deal with vendors in the industry to procure parts in exchange for exposure if possible
  • Ability to collaborate with videographers, producer/directors, technical producers and salesmen to creatively display customers product in high quality video
  • Ability to speak clearly on screen

PRODUCER/DIRECTOR

PowerNation Studios is searching for a Producer/Director who is a great storyteller and strong team leader to direct our hosts and videographers and produce high-quality automotive programs. Time management is essential. Our next Producer/Director will manage daily activities to hit long term deadlines, plan projects, prepare scripts, and assist with the selection of project vehicles.

Join America’s #1 automotive how-to television franchise as our next Producer/Director. Work with some of the best automotive talent in the industry; producing and directing a weekly national TV show. PowerNation averages 1.2 million views per episode through broadcast, streaming and YouTube and has a social following of 6.2 million. We’re looking for someone with a creative approach to each show who will direct both in the studio and out in the field. You will offline edit each show using Premiere Pro and will also be expected to collaborate with sales and sponsors to meet mutual goals and shared success.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of directing, producing, writing, and editing experience
  • Excellent storytelling skills are a must
  • Must be a self-starter and team leader with good communication skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Premier Pro
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Automotive knowledge preferred
  • Some travel required

SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description:

POWERNATION is seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative to support our sales team in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of key accounts, including ongoing communication, assurance of deliverables, and accurate reporting. As the first line of communication with our customers, the Sales Development Representative must have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and maintaining existing ones. In addition, the Sales Development Representative will research and screen companies identified as ideal prospects for POWERNATION’S marketing solutions. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to our success and this position is considered a springboard into the Account Executive role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Regular interaction with existing clients to ensure an optimal customer experience
  • Partner with designated Account Executives in the development of new/incremental revenue
  • Works in collaboration with sales and support teams to develop client presentations
  • Create relationships with potential suppliers for identified show product needs, qualifying their interests and viability to drive sales
  • Utilize CRM, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Regular tracking of client audience delivery, i.e., ComScore ratings and digital fulfillment
  • Attends sales meetings and training to develop product knowledge and refine skills
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Skilled at client interaction and accurate issue resolution
  • Strong desire and ability to advance within a sales organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least two years of account engagement in a professional sales environment
